AEROCREPE Medium Cotton Crepe Bandage FAQs

What does "medium" cotton crepe mean?

It describes the weight and support level of the weave. Medium sits between light crepe, which is mainly for holding dressings on, and elastic crepe, which is made for compression and immobilisation. Medium is the general-purpose middle ground.

Is 2.5cm the right width for a finger?

Yes. 2.5cm is the standard finger and thumb width — wider bandages crease and work loose across the knuckles. For a finger dressing you also have the option of a tubular finger bandage, which needs no wrapping at all.

Can crepe bandages be washed and reused?

Cotton crepe can be laundered and reused for training and non-clinical support use, and it will lose some of its recovery each time. For treating an open wound, use a fresh bandage over a sterile dressing.

How many rolls are in a pack?

A wrap of 12 rolls of 2.5cm x 4M. Cartons contain 60 wraps, the usual order unit for workplaces and clinics restocking several kits at once.
