AEROTAPE White Microporous Paper Tape 1.25cm x 5M Box/24
AEROTAPE White Microporous Paper Tape is a flexible, breathable paper tape for securing dressings and medical devices, particularly on facial and fragile skin. The narrow width — 1.25cm, for small dressings, cannula sites and facial work where a wide tape would be clumsy. The micropores matter more than they sound: skin held under a sealed adhesive for days macerates, and a breathable tape is what prevents that. Part of the Aero first aid consumables range.

Microporous Paper Tape FAQs
What is microporous paper tape for?
Securing dressings and light medical devices to skin, especially where the skin is fragile or the site is on the face. The micropores let the skin breathe, which is what makes it tolerable over days rather than hours.
Which width do I need?
Roughly: 1.25cm for small dressings, cannulas and facial work; 2.5cm as the general-purpose width most kits carry; 5cm for holding down larger pads. Wider tape is not better — excess adhesive on fragile skin causes its own damage.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. It is hypoallergenic with a very low irritant risk, which is why it is the usual choice for elderly patients, paediatrics and anyone whose skin has already been marked by adhesive.
Roll or dispenser?
Individually wrapped rolls stay clean in a kit until opened. A dispenser version is faster and one-handed at the point of use — better on a treatment room bench than in a sealed kit.
