Stainless Steel Pedal Bin 12L 24.5cm x 33cm x 41cm(H)
The Aero Healthcare 12L Stainless Steel Pedal Bin is a hands-free bin for spaces where touching a lid is not ideal — offices, pharmacies, consult rooms and first aid rooms. The foot pedal opens the lid without hands, and the lid keeps rubbish out of sight so a treatment or reception area stays tidy. At 12L it is sized for a single room rather than a whole floor.

Stainless Steel Pedal Bin FAQs
Why use a pedal bin instead of an open bin?
Two reasons. The foot pedal means nobody touches the lid, which matters wherever hand hygiene is part of the routine, and the lid keeps waste out of sight and contains odour in a room where people are being treated or served.
What size bin liner fits?
A 12 litre bin takes a standard small kitchen or office liner, typically 18–25L, which gives enough overhang to fold over the rim. Measure the rim before bulk-ordering liners.
Is stainless steel worth it over plastic?
In a clinical or food area, yes — it wipes down properly, tolerates disinfectants that craze plastic, and does not stain or hold odour. In a back office where none of that applies, plastic is the cheaper answer.
Is this suitable for clinical or sharps waste?
It is a general waste bin. Sharps must go into a purpose-made, puncture-resistant sharps container, and clinical or contaminated waste must follow your local waste stream rules rather than a general bin.
