Why nitrile rather than latex?
Nitrile carries no natural rubber latex protein, so it removes the allergy risk entirely — which matters when you cannot know the allergy status of everyone who might use a shared first aid kit. It also resists punctures better than latex.
Why are the gloves blue?
Contrast. A blue glove makes a split, tear or puncture obvious against skin, so you notice a breach in the barrier rather than working on unaware.
What does powder free mean and why does it matter?
Older gloves used cornstarch powder as a donning aid. The powder can carry latex proteins, irritate skin and contaminate a wound or work surface, so powder-free is now standard for clinical and food use.
Which pack size should I order?
