Using Bosistos Eucalyptus Oil safely

Undiluted, this is a poison if swallowed. Eucalyptus oil accounts for roughly 46% of essential oil poisoning calls to the NSW Poisons Information Centre, and 63% of those exposures involve someone under 15 - a dose of 5ml or more can cause serious central nervous system depression in a child. Most childhood exposures happen through a vaporiser left at floor level. Keep the bottle and any vaporiser well out of reach, do not swallow it, do not apply it neat to skin, and seek medical advice immediately if any is swallowed rather than waiting for symptoms. It is also toxic to dogs and cats.

Common uses
