Lion Alcometer SD400 Hand Held (Duel Mode) Breathalyser

The Lion SD400 is a fully automatic, simple to use breathalyser for use in health care, law enforcement and workplace health and safety.

The breathalyser is ready to use within 15 seconds of switch on and provides an easy to read response within 30 seconds. It also is ready to take the next breath alcohol sample in as little as 10 seconds.

Powered by 5 x AA batteries, the SD400 breathalyser will provide at least 3000 breath tests per set of batteries and provide the operator with a two stage low power warning system.

On account of its accuracy the SD400 Alcolmeter is approved and used in various countries as an evidential instrument. The fuel cell sensor is highly specific to alcohol and has the ability to operate in environments ranging from -5oC to +50oC.

The SD400 is also a flexible device and in addition to being able to provide breath alcohol level readings, it can also be programmed for low cost, fast, non-invasive PASS/FAIL precursory testing with a reusable sampling cup.

Recalibration is recommended every 6 months.
