Shipping & Delivery

COVID SHIPPING UPDATE

COVID-19 has disrupted supply chains globally.  This has meant inputs into our production process are sometimes in short supply, resulting in longer production times as well as causing freight and shipping delays when your order is shipped.  Where possible, we have adapted and changed certain processes.

Delivery delays can be caused by many factors, including the challenges of COVID-19. We’re doing everything we can to keep things moving while keeping you and our staff COVID safe.  However, some delivery delays are beyond our control, including health and safety; record postal volumes; fewer passenger flights; and other international factors.  We ask for your patience while we all get thru this together, but must stress that there will be delays from time to time.  To help reduce the likelihood of delays, please place your orders well ahead of time.

Plan ahead. We cannot stress enough the importance of planning ahead during these times. If you are requiring Handband products or other products from our partner sites such as MediBC and/or FeverMates please plan ahead. Products that are usually supplied within 2-3 days, could take 2-3 weeks. And of course, customised products should also be planned in advance and well ahead of time. We believe good planning will alleviate the potential delays that might arise over the coming months.

Shipping & Delivery

So you’ve done your shopping; just how long will it be until you receive your first aid kit or other MediBC products? This will depend on which shipping method you select.  You will receive tracking information after your order is placed and paid for. Please note that every catalogue item at MediBC generally ships same day, except where back-orders are indicated on the site.

Product delivery is generally made within 3 business days from when the order is placed and paid for, with this time frame allowing for instances where MediBC warehouse is awaiting supplier deliveries or stock is in short supply.

Occasionally our stock counts are slightly inaccurate or may change within the period of processing and fulfilling your order, resulting in an item you have ordered becoming temporarily out of stock.  If this is the case, an Online Customer Service Representative will contact you within 1-3 business days, with a suggested alternative.  If you are unhappy with the alternative, then you may choose to cancel all or part of your order and receive a refund by way of your original payment method, for the amount paid at the time of purchase. During crises or global epidemics, our shipping times may be a little slower and will be impacted by conditions that may be imposed on us by our shipping companies and sometimes even by governments, which could limit what products are able to be shipped or indeed rationed.

Here are a few things to consider while you wait for your order:
  • We ship in business days. Monday - Friday, excluding national holidays.
  • Shipping starts from the date you receive the “Your Order Has Shipped!” email.

MediBC is a global company - we work with production and shipping partners all over the world to get your things to your doorstep, wherever that may be.

So when do you contact MediBC? The calculator above lets you know the best time to message us. When that day rolls around. Even if your order hasn’t arrived by the listed date, it’s probably still on its way (and worth the wait).

  1. How much is shipping?

Once you’ve clicked through to Secure Checkout, you can enter your delivery address and choose a shipping method. Shipping costs are then calculated and added on to your subtotal at the bottom of the page.  Free shipping is only applicable within Australia and is only offered when advertised and included as an option at check-out.

  2. Can I track my order?

We rely on a global network of shipping partners (UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT) as well as local postal services (Australia Post, Royal Mail, USPS) to get your order to your doorstep as soon as possible. For this reason, tracking is not always available. If your order is being sent by a trackable service, these details will be included on your orders page as well as on the shipping email we send you.

  3. Where does my order ship from?

Your order will ship from either Sydney, Australia, via our global network of shipping partners (UPS, FedEx, DHL, TNT) as well as local postal services (Australia Post, Royal Mail, USPS) to get your order to your doorstep as soon as possible. If your location is outside of Australia, we may also ship direct from warehouses in the US and UK.

International Shipments

International Shipping is available for any order with a delivery address outside of Australia.

All international orders (everything outside Australia) are shipped via Australia Post, Fedex or DHL.  Typical MediBC shipping times are 3-10 business days after payment verification, but will depend on shipping method selected at check-out and any reported delays by shipping companies.  Transit times should also be displayed at check-out.

Watch out for additional taxes, duties, VAT, and other fees associated with customs. Our past experience is that these fees can be an additional 10%~30% added to your order. Sometimes they are charged and sometimes they are not charged.  We don’t know what these fees will be and so don’t reference them on our website and MediBC is not responsible for them. The charges are sometimes collected by the courier company on behalf of different governments. Your local government website might indicate what these charges are likely to be. Unfortunately, these government duties and import fees are your responsibility!

Orders with international deliveries will ship the next business day following your order, subject to payment verification.

Back Orders

We will sometimes allow you to backorder an item that is out of stock. However, these items will be clearly marked with a Backorder button. Click the Backorder button in the item description and checkout as you normally would. A sales order number will be issued at the Order Confirmation screen just as if you were placing a conventional order.

For high demand products, back-ordering allows you to be added to a queue and receive a priority position over new orders that other customers might subsequently place. Back-Order delivery dates, where indicated, are estimates and are not guaranteed to arrive on that date. Your product(s) will be promptly shipped as soon as the product arrives. No additional shipping fees will be charged.

If an estimated delivery date is not indicated on the product page then we cannot guarantee an exact date when it will ship.
