This small stainless steel trolley adds guard rails to three sides of both shelves — the version to choose when the trolley is wheeled between rooms with instruments, dressing packs or bottles on board. What are the guard rails for?
They stop instruments, bottles and dressing packs sliding off while the trolley is being wheeled. If the trolley mostly stays in one place, plain shelves are easier to load; if it travels between rooms, rails are worth having.
Are all four sides railed?
Three sides of each shelf are railed, with the fourth left open so you can slide trays and larger items on and off without lifting them clear over a rail.
What is 304 grade stainless steel?
304 is the standard austenitic stainless used across food and medical equipment. It resists corrosion from routine cleaning and disinfectants, does not hold stains or odour, and can be wiped down repeatedly without degrading — which is why it is the default for anything in a treatment room.
