AEROFORM Conforming Bandage 5cm x 4M Wrap/12
The AEROFORM Conforming Bandage 5cm x 4M is a cost-effective bandage with excellent conforming attributes — a standard conforming weave, durable and suited to holding dressings in place. At 5cm it is the everyday width for wrists, ankles and forearms — the size most first aid kits use to hold a dressing pad in place. Where greater support and compression are needed, the heavyweight and premium ranges are the ones recommended for sprains, strains and snake bites. Supplied as a wrap of 12 rolls from the Aero Healthcare bandage range.

AEROFORM Conforming Bandage FAQs
What is a conforming bandage used for?
Its job is retention — holding a dressing against a wound while the person keeps moving. The open, stretchy weave follows the shape of a limb or joint so the dressing stays put, but it is not designed to deliver compression.
What is the difference between conforming and crepe?
Conforming bandage is a light, open fabric made mainly for holding dressings on. Crepe is a heavier woven cotton with stretch and recovery, made for support and light compression. Kits usually carry both.
Will 5cm hold a standard dressing pad?
Standard or heavyweight?
Standard conforming is for dressing retention. The AEROFORM Heavyweight 5cm is the heavier weave used to support sprains and strains and give comfort to injured limbs and joints. If the bandage is doing support work rather than just holding a pad on, choose heavyweight.
