AEROPLAST Transparent Large Patch 7.5 x 5cm Box/10
The AEROPLAST Transparent Large Patch 7.5 x 5cm, Box of 10 uses an aesthetic transparent film that blends with every skin tone while giving the wound a waterproof barrier. The 10-patch box — enough large patches for a kit without committing to a box of 25. The transparency is functional as well as discreet: you can inspect the wound through the dressing instead of removing it, and every removal-and-redressing cycle is another chance to disturb healing tissue. Part of the Aero wound dressings range.

Transparent Plaster FAQs
Why choose a transparent plaster?
Two reasons. It is far less conspicuous than an opaque plaster because it blends with any skin tone, and you can see the wound through it — so checking on healing does not mean peeling the dressing off and re-dressing.
Is it waterproof?
The film gives a waterproof barrier in plaster form, which is what makes it suitable for handwashing and showering. For a wound that will be fully submerged or needs a sealed island dressing, a dedicated waterproof film dressing is the better choice.
Transparent, plastic or fabric?
Transparent for discretion and visible wound checks. Plastic for straightforward washproof cover. Fabric where the dressing has to stretch over a knuckle, elbow or knee. All three carry the same SupaSorb pad.
Will it stay on over a joint?
The film is designed to bend and stretch with body contours, so it holds better than a rigid film. Over a knuckle or a knee that flexes constantly, a fabric strip is still the more reliable option.
