Why does an oximeter need a case?
The sensor window is optical. Scratches, grit and pressure from other kit items degrade it, and a degraded window means a less reliable reading — on a device whose whole value is the reading.
Will it fit my oximeter?
It is sized for the C63 and C22 and fits most fingertip oximeters, which share a similar footprint. Measure yours against the listed dimensions if it is an unusual shape.
Is nylon better than a hard case?
It is a trade-off. Nylon is lighter and takes up less room in a kit; a hard case protects against crushing. For an oximeter living in a padded kit, soft nylon is usually enough.
Does the case come with an oximeter?
No — the case is sold on its own. It is intended as a replacement or an addition for an oximeter you already have.
