Rub it gently into the affected area two or three times a day, or as directed. It is for external use on intact skin - do not apply it to broken or weeping skin, to the eyes, or to mucous membranes. Note the excipients: it contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation, and cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions such as contact dermatitis. If the itch worsens, the skin reacts, or the problem persists, stop using it and speak to a pharmacist or doctor. Seek medical advice before using it on young children.
