Is it really soap free?
Yes. It cleanses with mild surfactants rather than true soap, which is alkaline and strips skin oils. That is the reason skin does not feel tight afterwards, and it is the main reason it is recommended for dry and sensitive skin in the first place.
Can I use it on my face?
Many people do, and it is fragrance free and non-comedogenic, so it is unlikely to irritate. QV does make dedicated face cleansers formulated for facial skin if you want the closer match. Keep any wash out of the eyes.
