How to use Sebitar
Ego directs use twice weekly, or up to once daily if needed. Massage it into a wet scalp, leave it briefly so the tar and salicylic acid have contact time, then rinse thoroughly. Tar preparations stain fabric, so keep it off towels and clothing you care about, and they can increase sensitivity to sunlight - be careful with sun exposure on treated skin. Avoid the eyes. If the scalp worsens, or there is no improvement after a reasonable trial, see a doctor or pharmacist rather than simply using it more often.
Common uses
Ongoing management of scalp psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff and scalp eczema, in home routines and under dermatology guidance. For itchy skin beyond the scalp, the Pinetarsol shower pack treats the whole body. Browse the wider Ego Pharmaceuticals range, or see related medical supplies at MediBC.
