The TRAUMASIM Arm Haemorrhage Control Simulator is a medically accurate part-task trainer in medical-grade silicone, built for bleeding control training. It simulates a full adult arm with a junctional wound near the armpit and a laceration across the radial artery — deliberately two different problems, because a junctional wound cannot be controlled by a tourniquet and a limb laceration can. Internal functionality stops the bleed once haemorrhage is genuinely controlled, so trainees get real feedback rather than an instructor’s opinion.

Bleeding Control Simulator FAQs

Why train on a simulator rather than a limb prop?

Because bleeding control is judged on whether the bleeding stops. A simulator that halts the bleed only when the technique is genuinely effective gives a trainee unambiguous feedback, which a static prop cannot.

Why two different wounds?

They demand different answers. A junctional wound at the armpit is above where a tourniquet can go, so it must be packed; a radial artery laceration can be controlled with a tourniquet. Training on both teaches the decision, not just the technique.

Is it reusable?

Yes — it is a training asset built for repeated use, in medical-grade silicone. Consumables such as gauze and training tourniquets are replaced separately.

Who is it for?

Training providers, emergency services, and workplaces running in-house bleeding control drills — anywhere the training has to produce competence rather than familiarity.
