What are Visine Clear Eye Drops?

Visine Clear eye drops contain tetrahydrozoline, a redness reliever that narrows the small blood vessels in the eye to quickly reduce redness caused by minor irritation. This 15ml bottle is for fast, temporary relief of red, irritated eyes.

What they are used for

  • Relief of eye redness from minor irritation, dust, smoke, wind or screen use
  • Fast, temporary comfort for tired, irritated eyes

How to use

Adults and children 6 years and over: put 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times a day. Do not use more often than directed, as overuse can worsen redness. Remove contact lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting. Stop and see a doctor if you have eye pain, vision changes, or redness lasting more than 72 hours.

Important safety information

Redness-relieving drops are for short-term use only. Using them for more than a few days can cause "rebound" redness, where the eyes become redder once the drops wear off. If redness or irritation lasts more than 72 hours, or you have eye pain or vision changes, stop use and see a doctor or optometrist. For ongoing dryness, a preservative-free lubricant such as Cellufresh may be more suitable.
