How to use the Pinetarsol shower pack

Apply it to wet skin in the shower, work it over the affected areas, leave it briefly so it has contact time, then rinse. Using it as a wash is the reason this format suits widespread itch - a cream has to be applied area by area, whereas a cleanser covers everything at once. A few practical notes: tar preparations can stain fabric, so keep it off good towels and light-coloured clothing, and tar can increase sensitivity to sunlight, so be careful with sun exposure on treated skin.
