How to use Urocolor 10 strips
- Collect a fresh midstream urine sample in a clean container.
- Dip the strip into urine for 1-2 seconds, fully wetting all reagent pads.
- Tap the strip edge against the container to remove excess urine.
- Hold the strip horizontally and start a timer.
- Read each reagent pad against the colour chart on the bottle at the time specified for each parameter (60 seconds to 2 minutes depending on parameter).
- Record results.
For best results, test within 2 hours of collection or refrigerate the sample. Allow refrigerated samples to return to room temperature before testing.
