Can these be used directly on a cut?
Yes - they are antiseptic cleansing wipes intended for cleaning minor cuts and grazes, and being alcohol free they do not sting the way an alcohol swab does. That matters most with children, who will not let you near a graze twice.
What is cetrimide?
A long-standing antiseptic that is also a surfactant, so it helps lift grit and debris while being antibacterial. At 1% it is the concentration used for cleaning minor wounds.
How are these different from alcohol swabs?
