HEARTSINE 360P Trainer Remote Control
The 360P Trainer Remote Control drives the HeartSine samaritan 360P AED trainer, letting the instructor choose what the device does next. Remotes are model-specific — a 360P remote works with the 360P trainer and not with the others, so order the one that matches the unit you own.
Why choose the 360P Trainer Remote?
Without a remote, a trainer runs whatever sequence it feels like and the class follows along. With the 360P Trainer Remote, the instructor decides: shockable rhythm now, non-shockable next, no-shock-advised for the trainee who needs to practise not panicking. That turns a demonstration into a lesson plan.
It matters most for assessment. If you need to see whether a trainee responds correctly to a rhythm that does not warrant a shock, you have to be able to produce that rhythm on demand rather than waiting for the device to offer it.
The remote controls a training device only. The 360P trainer holds no defibrillation circuit and delivers no shock, so nothing here has any function with a live AED. Live units are in the live defibrillator range.

360P Trainer Remote FAQs
Does a HeartSine trainer deliver a shock?
No. It cannot and does not deliver any shock at all. A trainer runs the same voice prompts, the same rhythm-analysis pauses and the same CPR intervals as the live unit, but there is no defibrillation circuit inside it. That is precisely why it is safe to hand to a room full of trainees.
Can trainer pads or a trainer Pad-Pak be used in a real emergency?
Never. Training consumables contain no functioning electrode gel circuit and will not deliver therapy. Store training equipment separately from live AEDs so the two can never be confused when someone is reaching in a hurry.
Which trainer remote suits my unit?
The remotes are model-specific: the 350P remote drives the 350P trainer, the 500P remote the 500P, and the 360P remote the 360P. They are not interchangeable, so order the remote that matches the trainer you already own.
Is it suitable for RTO and workplace first aid courses?
It is built for exactly that — familiarising lay rescuers with how an AED behaves before they ever meet a real one. Whether it satisfies a specific accredited unit of competency is a question for your training package, so confirm against your own course requirements.
What does the trainer actually teach?
Sequence and confidence. Trainees learn where the pads go, what the prompts sound like, when to stand clear and when to resume compressions — so that in a real arrest the device is familiar rather than intimidating. Pair it with the DRSABCD action plan and the chain of survival.
